Details:

  • Determining the most persistent and productive pastures for Gippsland, by investigating species, establishment methods, groundcover potential, species persistence and impacts on the soil moisture levels.
  • 6 year demonstration on the GRF and 5 year demonstration on 6-8 commercial farms in Central, East Gippsland and High Country

Over sowing options with different species and sowing rates into an old established pasture

  • The demonstration will have 7 pasture species and be for 4-5 years
