Beans on a Budget Demonstration

• To investigate whether growing faba beans can be a cheap feed for sheep in dry conditions
• The beans and fertilizer were spread on the paddock through a fertilizer truck and given a gentle working to cover seed.
• Measuring yield of beans on the plants once they have dried off and live weight gains of sheep grazing the beans
