The Gippsland Agricultural Group (GAgG) is seeking passionate, skilled, and visionary individuals to join our Board — including the pivotal role of Chair of the Board.
GAgG is a dynamic, community-led organisation driving sustainable, resilient, and profitable agriculture through innovation, collaboration, research, and education. With over 20 active projects and deep partnerships across government and industry, GAgG is at the forefront of transforming Gippsland’s agricultural landscape.
Board Members – Strategic Contributors and Community Champions
As a Board Member, you’ll actively contribute to the governance and strategic direction of GAgG. Whether your background is in agriculture, research, finance, education, or community engagement — your voice matters.
Time commitment: Approx. 4–6 hours/month
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend and contribute to quarterly Board meetings
- Help shape strategic objectives and monitor impact
- Serve on committees and support project oversight
- Advocate for GAgG within the community and beyond
We’re Looking For:
- Strong alignment with GAgG’s mission and values
- Experience in agriculture, governance, or related fields
- Commitment to collaboration and innovation
- Board Members must be over 18 and current voting members of GAgG
Term & Appointment:
- 3-year term, renewable up to 9 years total
- Appointments confirmed at our Annual General Meeting – 14 October 2026
